Crestpoint Psych Services is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal health information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and Colorado state law.

Important Distinction: Website vs. Clinical PHI

No protected health information (PHI) is stored or transmitted through this website outside of voluntary messages submitted via the contact form or direct email.

 

This website is not intended for sharing confidential clinical information, and communication through the website should not be considered secure for transmitting sensitive details.

 

How CPS Handles Your PHI

All PHI collected during the course of therapy, psychological assessment, EMDR, neurofeedback, coaching, or related services is managed outside of this website within a secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) system.

 

This includes:

  • Intake documents

  • Treatment records

  • Assessment data

  • Progress notes

  • Billing information

  • Reports and feedback summaries

 

Crestpoint Psych Services will never disclose PHI without your written consent, except where permitted or required by law (e.g., safety concerns, court orders, mandated reporting).

 

Website and Email are Not HIPAA-Secure

Any information transmitted via the website contact form or email should be considered non-secure and not suitable for sensitive or emergency communication.

 

For secure communication, all clients will use the encrypted client portal provided through our EHR.
